The House in the Wood Camp provides campers with positive alternatives to urban lifestyles within the context of an outdoor camp experience. Through individual and group outdoor activities, campers improve self-confidence, develop teamwork and conflict resolution skills, learn about other cultures and customs, practice good hygiene, and learn new and positive ways to express themselves.

Built Form is assisting NUSH by providing master planning and building design services to allow the organization to develop and implement their plans for the future of the camp. Built Form performed an audit of the existing camp conditions. After extensive client-architect collaborative meetings, Built Form developed an organizational plan that will provide direction for all future camp development. Additionally, preliminary building options were provided that incorporate the functions necessary for a properly operating camp.
